Neo Lemonade

Best food in Docklands. Seriously incredible menu which includes ingredients such as wattle seeds, fish roe, ravens creek pork, snapper…. all used to cover a scrumptious menu divided into chapters: snacks, sandwiches, burgers & “larger meals”….& of course great coffee and made to order cocktails. A very unique quality establishment in this Precint. I was too engrossed in my food to take photos! Please visit! This place is awesome!

3.5 star ⭐️ Walked past Neo Lemonade with kids the other day and decided to have breakfast there. Kids had their usual eggs on toast, with a side of avocado. Their eggs are beautifully cooked and Hangry Piglet finishes everything, however I found the prices of their sides a bit steep (from memory it’s $5 a side, that’s including extra egg!) I had a soy mocha which wasn’t that great (Padre coffee, I expect it to be better!) but was highly impressed by their burrata with slow cooked egg, bacon 🥓 and capsicum dip. The whole thing just went beautifully together and it was a lovely indulgent breakfast. The staff was super lovely although the food took longer than expected to arrive given there weren’t a lot of people there. Still, quite a good option in Docklands given the dismal dining scene there.

Ok... I'm leaving my earlier review below intact so you can see what they were, but are now not. Arrived this morning to be asked to wait by a clearly hungover staff member. Complied for a few minutes until it was clear he had no intention of actually seating us, so we sat at an empty table. 5 more minutes... no menu, water, greeting or prospect of food. Gone is the great menu. It's now bog standard. Even then i heard the staff member say to another customer that they were out of one of the menu items. We left. Really disappointing. Blacklisted. __________________________________________ 8 months earlier: In short: great food and great service. The menu is diverse and everything we've had so far has been full of flavour and beautifully presented! There's a decent drinks list too... whether you are in need of hair of the dog, or to kick off the afternoon on the right note! Particularly awesome in Docklands, as it is open on weekends for breakfast and lunch. It should be packed... and I expect it will be when more of you discover it (as you should... I want this place to be a permanent fixture of my breakfasting future)

It’s great to find a place like this open on weekends in Docklands. It’s even greater the food and coffee are excellent and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast took a little while longer than expected but proved to be worth the wait. It will probably attract more Instapeople than I’d like but we’ll definitely go back regardless.

What a beautiful restaurant and staff. Had a delightful night, felt loved on by the wonderful Hostess 'May' and I suspect the Owner/Bar Tender. Shout out to the 2 Chefs who made a custom meal for me. Enjoyed a lovely Tassie wine, the meal was delicious. The night was intimate and special and we can't wait to return. The wonderful Espresso Martini's topped off the night!
