Their coffee is an example of why Melbourne has the reputation for best coffee in world. The food offer is extensive , it’s delicious and is made fresh every day . Their customers want good fresh food at affordable prices and they deliver this better than any other cafe in the area - well done!

Best value cafe in the area. I always go for a chicken sandwich, but they have so many more options (salads, roast etc). A traditional setup, old school service, no Instagrammers. Well worth a visit for a lunch run!

I have only eaten at this cafe twice, and will never return.
It seems that the sandwich pricing is up to whoever serves you.
I paid $7.00 for a sandwich on my first visit, then on my second visit, with the exact same sandwich, I was charged $8.50. When I queried this, I was told too bad.

We used to buy breakfast from our work with a discounted rate. My order was missed from the list this weekend and I went to pick up my one from the shop personally. Advised the owner/dealing person about that and they just gave me a cold shoulder. Appears to be most incourteous and unprofessional way of dealing with a client. Money is not the issue here but the way of serving a client seems to me quite rude and inappropriate. No more Cafe 34 for me. They need to learn how to treat a customer. Also, food is not up to the mark.

I've been popping in many years now and then for breakfast or lunch. Best bacon and egg sandwiches in world. Really good choice of winter comfort foods for lunch. Fantastic potato cakes. Always friendly service.

I got a egg avocado sandwich and a cappucino today on the way to work. The avocado was completely black and inedible. Cannot imagine how they thought this was 9 to serve to customers. Will not be returning here again.
