I got a very good dirty chai here and a lemon slice. Their slices are quite large, so being the annoying person I am, I asked for it to be cut it onto three pieces. The staff member was very nice and did that with a plastic knife, which I could’ve done myself. I just thought he would do it with a ‘real’ knife. Much easier you know? Any hoo….the lemon slice is made with real lemon juice/zest, not lemon essence. Boo to slices with essence!!

Sunday breakfast here is amazing. There is a good selection of eating options and the customised freshly squeezed juices are a winner for those recovering from heavy Saturday night partying. Most impressive however was the super nice service we had from a young lady named Gab. Gab is the real reason businesses are successful. She was pleasant, friendly, professional and had the perfect demeanor for any cafe business. Well done to management for hiring someone like Gab and well done Gab for being so professional.

The customer service here is deplorable. While the barista is busy juggling taking orders and making coffee, a line of three people has formed at the register. Another employee wraps bread in glad wrap, while customers are forced to wait ten minutes just for their order to be taken. I've been here numerous times where staff just stands around and talks to each other instead of serving customers. I've emailed management previously to voice concerns, but received no reply and nothing has changed. Soul Origin in the food court has much better coffee, and overall better service.

I work in the office next door to DFO south Wharf. Pre Covid, studio would do some great lunch specials. I would occasionally get a Parma and chips for lunch on a Friday for 9.90 Today I thought it might be good to get that and now to my shock the sign now says 21.90 That is a price increase of more than 220%. I accept everything have gone up. However I am not paying a 220% price increase and 21.90 for lunch. No chance! I just kept on walking. Edited: Owner says there is no price change. That’s a lie because here is photo evidence. They now want to charge me 21.90 for the same lunch meal.

I am absolutely disgusted with this cafe. The manager with the humongous nose was so terribly rude. Me and my younger brother, asked for tap water as it is a human right. Right off the bat before I said anything he was already giving me sour faces and attitude. he said no we don't give tap water. he was just trying to sell us bottled water that costs 4 dollars each. he was so full of negativity throughout the entire interaction even to young kids. don't come to this cafe. the costumer service is terrible and the food tastes like it was left out for weeks.
