La Porchetta

These guys are quick, make delicious pizzas and pastas for a very reasonable price. Very friendly and relaxed environment. Love the way they just crisp the edges of the pepperoni. And the crust is not too doughy. Just the right amount of toppings which taste fresh. Appreciate the lady working the dining room. She works really hard but is always friendly. I gave her a tip. I'm thinking servers have had it tough the last couple of years.

Gnocchi and eggplant parmigiana were really delicious. Unfortunately we were seated next to the uber pick up table which was busy even though the restaurant was mostly empty. We were hoping for a leisurely dinner being Saturday but we were in and out under 50 minutes as we were hurried along by the wait staff. Our meals came out at different times leaving us to eat separately and staff kept trying to clear when we were not finished.

Iconic - an Australian institution. Our family have been coming here for years, back when it was on the corner of Victoria and Peel Street. We have always appreciated the love that is put into the food here and the great and personable service that the staff provide. One server we've known for a while is Yannick. He's a total rockstar, the absolute best when it comes to looking after his customers, always has a big beautiful smile on his face, super efficient and accurate, and makes sure you always feel welcomed. All in all, a lovely local community spot with good value pizza and pasta.

I was a customer for years before they had to move, it’s been a while since then. To say that the pasta was average tonight is quite the compliment, it was however less than average. To say I have had better microwave meals would be a lie, but not by much. It is very difficult to complain about the flavour on flavourless food I guess and yet it still tastes bad. I hope this was an off night for the team but I won’t be coming back to find out.
