Zambrero

My experience at this restaurant was outstanding. I was served by a fantastic young lady (I didn’t catch her name which I’m kicking myself for!!). She was so polite and friendly; and to top it off she put a great amount of filling in my burrito! Excellent value for money, awesome service, fresh food...I’ll be going back for sure :)

The experience is not very user friendly people who are not regular customers. Compared to Subway which is easy and straightforward, Zambrero has a lack of signage and instructions which makes it very confusing. and during the lunch time rush, there is pressure to quickly choose something without really understanding what you are choosing or knowing what other options are available. As an example, I was asked what meat I wanted, so I chose chicken. I was very surprised to learn that curried chicken was provided, not regular chicken.

Really average food and extremely poor service. 1st and last time. Ordered ahead online for pick up at 9pm. Arrived to pick up, walked in said hi I’m here to pick up. Staff member looks at me, exchanges no words or even a smile, not to mention asking me who I was picking up for. Turns around, picks up a bag that was sitting on the back counter. Passes it to me, says the only exchange of words ‘there you go..’ The staff member was scruffy and acted like I had in some way offended him by just being there. Our food. I wasn’t holding out much hope, based on his attitude and appearance, coupled with that fact it was just left cold on the back counter. True to expectations. It was cold and poorly prepared. Truly a dissatisfying experience on all counts. Explains why the store always seems quiet when open.

Rip off! On board it says power burrito with extras is $14.90 regular $13.50 added, extra filling for $2 when I was ready to order the power burrito with extra =$14. 90 plus $2 they asked me to pay extra $3 on top for meet and extra $2 for guacamole! My question was what the heck I'm I paying extra for if I still need to pay more on top of the extras I already ordered to pay for?? This business soon will definitely go down 👎 The way they measure food is like they selling you gold or something 😐 Over charging customers plus fairing to give you 1 jalapeños extra or corn. Consumers afair should be notice about customer rip off on prices and what they really offer 1 burrito cost me $21 when I should pay what they advertise not smart at all zambrero never eating there again. You guys loosing customers everyday with so many negative reviews .

We’ve been going to the port Melb store almost every week for over a year. Tonight we got burritos half the size for the exact same price! Notice on here a change in portion size noted recently with new management - if this is the new size, we won’t be eating here anymore. $35 for 2 half burritos is ridiculous. Disappointing as it’s very tasty!
