Mie Siantar is superb! The taste is similar with the one I ate back in Indonesia. The noodled texture is chewy and condiments are a lot. Siomay is just okay, the sauce is not my favorite. But the noodle, you must try.

Absolutely loved my dining experience here the other night. Not only were the staff super friendly and gave great recommendations, the food was super tasty and flavourful as well.
If you guys are looking authentic and delicious Indonesian food you gotta check them out !
We were lucky enough to try so all of these delicious dishes and my favourite were definitely the chicken congee (Burbur Cirebon )and dry noodles with mushroom and chicken 😍 ~ these are only available on their special Friday night menu !
Their meals are such good value as well, they range from $11-15 and the servings are massiveeee !!

Had the bakmie keriting siantar, it was pretty large and yum! I think there could be a bit more topping compared to the size of the noodles but that's only because it was a big bowl. Also the pork came out a bit cold which means its not cooked fresh which i understand for a fast food restaurant but is a lil sad. Soup was also good. Overall good value for money, and tastes pretty great! Also quite salty though so if that isn't your thing, maybe give it a miss.

Have wanted to try this but never went coz its always packed near south Melbourne market!! Gotta fight for parking. That alone -1 star from me. So I tried a take away in the lockdown, ordered Bakmi Bangka ($15) and Siomay Bandung ($13). It is a big bowl of noodle, meat and some greens, definitely recommend this ! The siomay balls itself is good. Taste is quite authentic but the peanut sauce is just too sweet for my liking (and I like sweet) and not spicy at all, that just ruined the whole meal for me. Considering the location, price (which gone up 30% in the last 4 years) and what you get for it, is allright

I think the noodles here are the closest you can get to authentic Indonesian bakmie in Melbourne. Would recommend getting bakmie bangka and soy milk 👍

It’s called a ‘fast’ restaurant but we waited for 30 mins before the food was served. I had to remind the staff to get food, which is appalling. The food was so average and felt cheap. Would not come back.

The best bakso in Australia. Bakso Malang is so authentic maybe even better from my distant memories I had in Indonesia. The portion is generous so it’s great value for money. Cant get enough of the bakso malang, my husband and I ate here repeatedly 3 weekends in a row
