Support your local businesses during lockdown! This lovely place in Port Melbourne is great place for Vietnamese takeaway, good selection in menu and very flavoursome food. The ladies working here are very friendly and accommodating. Have been here a couple of times now and has quickly become a favourite of mine. Definitely recommend!

I worked here for several months as FOH and a kitchen hand. Manager was initially nice but she turned out to be watching staff on CCTV to make sure they were 'working' (which of course the staff would if there are customers or tasks to be done). She underpaid me at a mere $15 an hour and I had to run the whole place often alone when it was full. She also didnt disclose to me that i was entitled to be paid double for working on public holidays. And of course when I raised that with her, she had a 'phone call' with her business partner, paid me and fired me. She also paid me in cash (and the other staff as well) and I suspect is not paying taxes for her staff (eventhough she gave me a tax form but there arent any records of her witholding my salary to pay my taxes). She was kind in the sense she offered me food after my shifts but she and her business are socially irresponsible and unethical. Oh and I must say, she does play around a lot with the pricing of dishes (in my opinion, she overprices many of them). I feel sorry for her staff who are being exploited and her customers who don't know how she runs her business. Fairwork should look into this.
