Viva Kebabs And Burgers

Before with the old owners, Viva Kebabs was the place to be after a massive night out in the city. Now, it seems kinda sad and not as vibrant as it used to be. (Ok maybe because of COVID but still.) Pricing is still good at $15 for a normal sized HSP. The meat and chips are average, possibly could have put a little more sauce. I feel that the quality has dipped. There is indoor seating which is a bonus on those cold nights.

Got my partner and myself 2 HSPs. Something in there tasted off wether it was the meat or the sauce. It just tasted disgusting, then the lady serving us said there’s nothing wrong with it and that it’s fine, yet proceeds to tell us she’s vegetarian so she doesn’t even know if the meat is off or anything. Then wouldn’t give us our full refund because we ‘ate too much’ of it. Save your money and go elsewhere. It’s not worth it

Went here for lunch with my partner. Service times were long, and the amount of food is less than competitors. The Iskender Kebab my partner ordered wasn't really worth the wait. As she was walking to pick up a box for what remained, she slipped on a pool of grease that hadn't been cleaned from the shop's floor, ripping a nail off her hand, and ruining her shirt. The staff offered nothing but a bandaid and disappeared after 60 seconds, not even offering a refund for failing to keep their store clean. This left us $22.50, a shirt, and a finger down, with nothing to show for it. Poor service, poor food, poor establishment. Spend your money elsewhere.

I ordered and paid for 1 large HSP and “homemade baklava” through deliveroo. What arrived was a medium HSP (labelled with a big fat M) and your run of the mill mass produced and pre packaged Baklava. To add insult to injury the food was disgusting, the chips were stuck together like glue and undercooked. The meat tasted horrific and had an almost rancid quality that overpowered 3 different sauces. Spend your money elsewhere, as the owner of this store is obviously happy ripping people off and lying about the products they sell.
