Service is fairly slow and food is good but missing on key elements. First of all the service was a bit slow, wanted to have a meal on a rush to the airport and it took 20 minutes for the food to come out for 2 mains. Also the meat in proportion to rest of the meal was lacking, more meat needed to be added. A seafood soup with 2 prawns is disappointing, otherwise the soup and noodles were good. Menu has a lot of items to choose from and the coconut juice was to die for.

Extremely disappointed. This has got to be the worst bowl of pho I’ve ever had. I couldn’t even finished half the bowl, that’s how bad it was. Service is slow but staff is friendly but the pho soup literally just tasted like hot water. I tried my best to dress it up by asking for extra hoisin and chilli sauce but it didn’t taste any better. After eating a few bites I just got up, paid and left. Being a Vietnamese I want to be supportive but cooking food like this and feeding to people, this is shameful. No pride, passion or respect for Vietnamese cuisine. Such a shame.

Dong Phuong consistently deliver one of my fave dishes ~ the steam barramundi with ginger sauce. The chef and staff accomodated my dietary requirement and special request - nothing is missing. The tasty & flavorful XL fish arrived carefully packed and masterfully cooked. Stay safe, well, and blessed. Til next order soon

This restaurant was outstanding in value and flavour. We had the prawn spring rolls and sliced beef pho. Extremely worth for the price and food tasted excellent. A tasty broth with soft noodle and beef.

We had the Pekin duck with the pancakes and it tasted more like a roasted duck that sat in the warming counter for ages, quite dry, not soo fresh and the only thing that was in common with a pekin duck was the sauce. Unfortunately we booked with Groupon and when we looked at the menu in the restaurant the full price for half a duck was $20 which means that the discount on Groupon (half a duck for $19) is a total scam. Wouldn't recommend

Would NOT recommend this resturant. Food is frozen, not properly cooked and after a dispute over the inedible dish I was served, the worker called me "wasteful" and was rude assuming I had no genuine understanding of their cuisine. Not to mention that the resturant was actually closed for dine-in but we were not made aware of this when making our booking.

Great family friendly Vietnamese restaurant We took a chance to tried Dong Phuong and we weren't disappointed. We tried their Pho and it was really good. They managed to get the broth just right with soft freshly made rice noodles. We also tried their Vietnamese pancakes (banh xeo) and it was good but not as good as the Pho. The portions for the pho was huge for the price especially compared to some places in the CBD. The service was excellent with just the right amount of attention. It's really good to know that we now have a local Vietnamese option to save us having to trek out to Richmond for Footscray. Recommended. We will be back ourselves.

This is an honest, good old fashioned Vietnamese eating place! The staff are super friendly and helpful, the menu is long and covers everything you'd expect. Serving sizes are large and it's not overpriced. Our sweet and sour pork was a little overcooked but everything else was bang on, good flavours, nice spice and the spring rolls are amazing! Worth a visit for good Vietnamese
