Seoul House Korean Restaurant

My husband and I ate all we could eat, at the all you can eat! This was our second time back, the price hasn't changed over the last 4 years!! Everything tasted good, perhaps just the miso soup was a little too salty. Staff were very nice, maybe a little too shy though. Some ambient music could set the mood better.

My partner and I both had an all you can eat BBQ grill, neither of us had ever tried Korean before but were pleasantly surprised. Nice flavours and variety, sitting at the Flinders Street Station feeling quite stuffed. It was very cool to see the food cooked in front of us, staff were friendly, overall a good experience!

I knew there was something iffy when I stepped foot and there was only one table seated. Restaurant is outdated and grills built in the tables don’t even work. Food was not fresh and of poor quality, brown lettuce, meat tough and chewy. When asked if the chicken was ready as the manager was cooking it, he responded with “I think so”. I lost my appetite immediately. Went to pay and manager responds with the credit card machine didn’t work as “the bank had call one hour ago”. We were sitting there for maybe 30 minutes and nothing was said to us prior. Later he “realized” the machine was working then requested a 1.5% credit card fee for a $72 bill. No signs anywhere stating cash only. I told him the restaurant seemed really quiet for a Thursday night and he responded with weather being cold. It was a beautiful summer night lol.... never again.

I guess you get what you pay for. Food is below average but the price is also below average. Nothing to complain about services. If you are on a budget feel free to check it out, it will fill you up for sure. Personally I don't think I will come back. I'd rather pay more for better food and better hygiene. My son accidentally open the lid of the BBQ and it makes me want to puke. I just couldn't eat anything after that.The blinds the interior seem old and filthy but I can ignore it. The food is filthy then nothing can make up for that.
