Came here for a quick sandwich and was greeted by a friendly staff.
I ordered the Authentic Italian Cold Cuts - Mild salami, smoked ham, pepperoni, sopressa salami, provolone cheese & oregano (6 inches), with fries on the side.
The sandwich was prepared quickly and served with the hot fries.
Loved the freshness of the ingredients.

Absolutely enjoyed the food here, its a bit on the pricey side but 100% worth it. The bread and all the fillings melt beautifully in your mouth with amazing flavour.

With most of the eateries closed due to covid in The District, Jon Smith has remained open for take away. The subs are cooked fresh and there are quite a few options to choose from. Even though they were quite busy, customer service was great. We got a 12 inch "the bomb" and it was quite tasty. The bread was soft and the filling was generous.

Not sure why they call it the bomb... I had a 6inch steak bomb with a regular fries and coke... the fries were outstanding but that was all... not sure if I was ther on the wrong day but Sat brunch time with only me in the store.... paid $17+ for this not sure sure if it was worth it. I will go back to try the cajun steak, hopefully thats a bomb with some flavor.

I ordered the Cuban... it was so thin and miserable I had to order subway after 😂🤦🏻♂️

Ordered online, was 25min late.
First time I tried this place, checked the website and the pictures of the subs looked amazing.
The reality was quite the opposite, after paying $5.00 extra to add tomatoes and lettuce into my sub, I thought the sandwich would be satisfying and look like what they do on their website.
A big disappointment. I should have gone to subway.

I don't think the owner is not aware of what the staff is doing. I have placed an order through Doordash at 3.40 pm today. Order was accepted and confirmed and gave 4.20 as delivery time. At 4.25 I had a msg saying my order was cancelled by the store because they are closed.
I know how hard to run a store in this days. I am a regular customer of this place . The food is awesome. I think the staff should appreciate their job a bit more.

Had the steak bomb, plus chips. Great bread and ingredients, especially the steak, they’ve really nailed that. Delicious! Chips were not just doused in salt either, so I actually was able to enjoy those. Also surprised as all the food wrapping was 100% recyclable, which I think is great.
