Marvellous Kebabs

Not sure what the guys name was, but I was waiting outside for the (closed shop) to open but the guy that served me made up for every second of the shop being closed. For the first time in my takeaway experience in Australia old mate had a bit of fun about him, having a bit of crack with me unlike the rest of the takeaways on glenferrie. The food itself was divine, even putting the one notorious grill-house to shame (which should of actually been open unlike this place). If you’re hungry late at night, you may just be in luck with this place. It’s worth a try regardless (best kebab in Hawthorn area).

The food took in total 80 minutes to arrive. By then the chips were cold and soggy. Would definitely not recommend ordering from this business as their delivery times are absurdly long to begin with (quoted 1 hour) and will take ever longer than that. After complaining about this they refused to give me a refund. Avoid at all costs.

Well it's got a different twist. Marvels themed(Supposedly). Couldn't care less for the ambience. The colors were a bit too loud for my liking. The menus different to a typical kebab place. They have added their own twist to it. I just had the Hsp so can't comment of the wraps for now. The HSP in general was just ok. Very less in quantity compared to a traditional kebab joint. What really irritated me for the 1 star rating was the way the staff behaved. The 10- 12 minutes I was in there, not once did they smile. At least a courtesy and wish someone when they step in or head out of the store. The whole time the two ladies were just behind the counter yapping through. And 10 minutes for a HSP was a bit too much. Busier places do them faster and you did not have another customer other than me in there. When I was handed the food I thanked them after all this and still not a word out of their mouth. Don't think I'd ever visit them nor want by friends to swing by this place. The one star will be just because they have a 10% off for students.

We went there this afternoon for an early lunch. We were the only ones there at first, though the place did get very busy afterwards. Super friendly service - can't fault the guys at all. HSP is very generous, even as a medium. My wife ordered the OG chicken kebab and I had the Fkn hot mixed kebab. Took a fair while to get our kebabs. No plates offered, even though we were eating in. My wife's kebab fell apart right from the outset. A bit stingy on the serviettes as well. I had to ask for some, and even then we only got one. Kebabs are okay. Reasonable prices. Not the best I've ever had. Flemington kebabs still the best.
