Guzman Y Gomez - South Yarra - Punt Rd

Guzman y Gomez is a really good option if you feel like takeaway Mexican food, this store I particular isn't bad at all, the only thing I'd say is definitely missing from most items or as a something on the side at least is Lime, maybe it's just not worth it for them money wise but as a lover of Mexican food I'd definitely say it should be included, would I recommend this place? Yeah I guess I would ,not highly but I would still recommend for a quick Taco.

Went here today for a quick bite, got served by Aleja (so it says on the receipt) who was really rude and condescending. I asked questions about what filling came with certain food and was responded with a rude attitude as to say I should already know this. I asked what do I get for $3 Churros, she showed me a card that had a picture of the churros, I then asked to confirm whether $3 get me 1 churros or 2 and she just kept repeating what does the photo show, so I asked her again is it 2 for $3 she then responded what does the photo show? In a rude manner then said yes. She could’ve just confirmed so to begin with. I couldn’t understand with that attitude why are you facing customers? if you don’t like what you do, why not work at the back instead of giving customers grief. I will NEVER return to this store and take my business elsewhere. Other than that, the slow cooked beef was super dry but the shredded mushroom was good.

not happy at all. ordered tonight and waited 1.5 hours for my food via deliveroo. they advised that 3 drivers canceled due to the lengthy time it took for the food to be ready (understandable, I wouldnt have much patience either), called the restaurant to get an ETA and nobody answers. don't understand how it takes 1 hour to make a burrito. fresh or not. won't be coming back.

Ordered 2 barramundi burritos as they have always been a favourite of mine. You can imagine my disappointment when last night I discovered - halfway through eating might I add - that the so called ‘barramundi’ was absent from this burrito and they’ve decided to use chicken instead. As a strict pescatarian this left me feeling disgusted and extremely unwell until the early hours the next morning as I had not consumed poultry in over 6 years. A restaurant that constantly boasts about using fresh produce and high quality Mexican food should be ashamed that they don’t seem to be following very simple food safety orders. Please do yourself a favour and don’t support this business. They don’t care about your health and well-being especially during a global pandemic. It makes me question how covid safe they are with their food handling.

Don't order courier delivery from here unless you are not hungry because this shop is too slow and doesn't ever recognize multiple orders coming in in the same period. Even with 10 to 12 staff in we waited around 30 minutes or more for two orders for delivery. At least 20 orders siting there getting cold, no system at all to keep the fresh food walking out of the door. I will not be back in any capacity either as courier or customer...very basic and empty food also btw.
