1000 Wat

Worst Thai food experience that I ever had!!! Not because of the food taste, but how extremely small the portion is. When my food arrived, I was shocked as I felt like I ordered a kid’s meal. I proceed to ask the staff, “is this a small size?”, then she said in a very rude tone that “we only have one size” and she just left. If you can’t even give a decent food portion, at least fix your customer service! Don’t go here for lunch or dinner, otherwise you will be left feeling hungry. Last but not least, it is very inconvenient that you have to go to the cashier just to ask them to re-fill your water. I will give this place a minus zero star if I could!!!!!

Disgusting food . We ate at 1000 Wat , last night and would say this was the worst Thai food we’d ever had . I ordered the Red Prawn Curry , which came out as a mountain of rice with 4 prawns , which were that rubbery soggy texture from being recently defrosted . On top of the prawns was a stack of carrot and a couple of other vegetables , all drizzled in red curry sauce . Absolute joke . My partner ordered the Pad Thai - tasteless , no vegetables , thin noodles , reheated shredded chicken , too much tofu etc . She loves her Pad Thai , so I know she understands the difference between a good and a bad Pad Thai . We are never going back , and would recommend to anyone thinking of Thai , to walk out of the Emporium and look for a decent restaurant in Little Bourke just up the road . Food is well below average .

Unique Dish: Tom Yum Soup paired with QQ Authentic Thai Fragrant Rice of the right texture. The tangy soup flavours paired with seafood fresh from the fishermen’s boat will make you get a second helping of rice! Service: Servers are neat, well presented, smiling & polite. Atmosphere: Wooden theme, Well decorated & Clean. Emporium Mall’s Temperature is Climate Controlled. Toilet is clean. Crowd: Professionals. The food turnover rate as I always see people dining and its never empty thus the food must fresh. I give it 5 / 5 stars. I will return to try different dishes & drinks especially the Thai Beers as they all look tasty.
