Il Amalfi

I ordered the Calabrese pasta and Margherita pizza last night. A few minutes later, I had a call saying they ran out of penne and only had gnocchi. I was a bit sceptical because gnocchi isn’t really my thing but I said that’s fine, I’ll have my pasta with gnocchi. Anyway, they were very quick and efficient with the delivery. I tried the pasta first which was divine, I was so happy I got the gnocchi instead! The pizza was yummy, all in all just really tasty comfort food 💕

I waited an hour and a half. My order was meant to arrive at 1.23am.. I rang the restaurant at 1.33am and I was greeted rudely by a man who advised me he doesn't know what is going on. I then ring menulog and I was put on hold for 7mins.. then was advised the driver had already given the order to me even though the whole reason for the phone call was that my order took that long. The lady from menulog went on to say she couldn't help anymore as even though she heard the conversation between the restaurant and the driver it was in another language. In that minute my food finally arrived.. exactly 25mins later than expected.. the driver drops my food on the ground as he opened the black bag. So i not am with cold, messy food that I've waited an hour and a half for. Thanks guys and menulog. No wonder you guys are losing business.
