The most delightful cafe! I tried the delicious Dirty Chai for the first time today, and it is officially my favorite spiced coffee drink ever. They also made a delicious almond milk latte. The interior is beautifully decorated with a heartwarming and cozy theme. Everything is so well-organized, and "in the right place". My favorite vintage piece of decor is the beautiful triple-faced barometer proudly hanging by the pastry display. I came out of the cafe delighted and cheered. Definitely will come back every time I'm in the area.

We're in love. Heska is a light in the world. Her and her husband's ability to share love in all they do is the type stuff that changes this world into the one our hearts know it can be! Such fresh good food, such delicious, strong iced Americanos ! Such a sweet cool, veranda at the end of a long weekend in the mountains and before a hot, long drive home to San Diego. As the driver I can tell you, I was so tired and not looking forward to it. This was So needed. We floated home safely and with such good energy all the way back! Truly an oasis! Clean bathroom. Can't wait to stop back next time, and on a Friday for the music!

Best kept secret in Mentone, that needs to be shared!! Just a little place, so homey and beautiful inside, puts you right at ease when you're picking up your to-go order. A great intro to the delicious food that you're about to eat. Our first time there, and I can already say with confidence, it's a new favorite, we will be back! We had the Mongolian beef sandwich, (it comes mild, medium or spicy), and they were delicious! Perfectly seasoned meat on soft, tasty homemade bread rolls, with grilled onions, just sublime. Greek salad with super fresh greens, cherry tomatoes, raisins, olives, feta cheese nuggets, and the best vinegar based dressing I've ever had. Blackberry crumble/coffee cake that was a perfect blend of blackberry, crumble, and an almost cheesecake-like base, to die for! All this is nicely packed up, and given to you, by one of the sweetest ladies it's been my pleasure to meet. A family run local business, that makes you feel welcome, at home, and serves up the best food in the IE. Please be sure and support this little Mentone treasure, you won't regret it!

Pre pandemic this was the local sandwich shop you want to come to. Can't wait to be able to dine in again. Everything about this place is lovely. Their food is absolutley delicious- get their mongolian beef sandwich, and their drinks! Their chai tea is so good! When you were able to dine in, the atmosphere inside felt homey. It was cozy and chique, you'd get your hot drinks served to you in hand made ceramic cups. I love that they stamp their bread. That is a nice touch that really makes it feel like youre not at some faceless chain. You can tell that this place is original and loved.
