Yokohama Sushi

Sushi is delicious and fresh. The gentleman behind the counter was so lovely, it was the end of the day and he was so obliging, making me a platter for unexpected guests. It was yummy and not one piece left!! That’s service and at a very reasonable price also. Guests said some of the best sushi they have had. Plus so beautifully presented.

Probably the worst Japanese I’ve ever eaten. Why oh why didn’t I do my research better. Every dish tasted like it was made yesterday and I actually decided not to give it to my kids and cooked them eggs instead. Really poor cuts of salmon.. basically inedible. Salad drowned in mayo, flavorless katsu. Prawns heavily battered to mask the poor quality. The poor fish who died to make it to this restaurant. Anyway.. you win some, you lose some. Save your money and go elsewhere is my recommendation.

Friendly service, they are very quick and the food is delicious. It's my favourite local takeaway restaurant. Their chicken katsu curry is wonderful and they allow you to customise the order . I highly recommend them . Very clean and fantastic food :) . My son and I both recommend their food. They have a massive menu.

I don't know what their other stuff is like but the sushi is not fresh, as one of the comments says it tastes like it's been refrigerated forever. As someone who just got back from Japan this is offensive to be honest, SUSHI and freshness are one and the same, it isn't sushi if it's not fresh, none this surprises me though.

I never ate here. I done work in the man hole in front of the shop. Given it was 1am, there wasn't many people in there... in fact it was closed. Most of the shops were. So just to keep things interesting im going to say, i was pretty hungry at the time. I didn't actually know there was an eatery of any kind at this location, but I'll give the place the benefit of the doubt and say that Yokohama sushi was the reason i was hungry!! Oooh yeah, gotta love that hama sushi. I dont like yoko, she turned John Lennon into a new age poofter and ruined the Beatles!! Any way i give this place 3 stars because the service at 1am is appalling! Maybe you guys should consider the potential customers that work the night shift in the area and need to eat... Or maybe this place is that good that they dont need to be open 24 hrs and make enough profit to be able to close at the ungodly hours of the night What a paradox i have uncovered!! If Einstein was an accountant, this would have had him occupied for at least 16 minutes. Anyway some one go eat here and tell me if it's worth taking my beautiful lady on a Sunday lunch date, or if i should go samurai the shop with my sleeping monkey hidden elephant ninja style back flip front kick to the sushi hole
