Killer Melts

A great grilled cheese with fresh ingredients. I thought my Hunter Melt (buffalo chicken and pepper jack cheese) was top notch and the flavors perfect. The brussel sprouts and truffle fries also tasted great. The place was clean and I loved their decor. Only downside, was they had small cups for the fountain drinks and no brewed tea. Entrees: (1) The Hunter Melt with Roasted Brussel Sprouts (2) The Mobster Melt with Truffle Fries Atmosphere/Décor: Clean, Modern/Industrial. Very Open. Server Attentiveness: Counter Order. Efficient. Food Wait: Average Cost/Value: $11ish per entrée

I was really excited to try this place even more so when we saw the menu. We have since come several times always going for the Killer Melt and Grim Reaper burger. Both have a sort of sweet heat, but absolutely not hot like the name may indicate. The burger is tender, bun is great and the jelly inside is so good! On the other hand, the Killer Melt is on the perfect bread and have a filling inside that just compliments the cheese altogether. The fries were great and the presentation nice. You order at the counter and they give you a number and bring out your food. The restaurant has nice decor and really cute signs on the wall. The only downer is it serves Pepsi products - I am a Coke person, but it won’t stop me from going there again.

This place makes serving grilled cheese and mac and cheese into an art! The food is delicious and will become a staple of my trips to the area. The hunter sandwich and volcano mac were "killer" with the volcano mac making is think of buffalo chicken wing dip but with out the heavyness of wing dip. This place is an explosion of flavor! Well done!!

Killer melts, a delicious burger/grilled cheese restaurant with a creative flare for horror. I have been here multiple times and every time is just as memorable as the last. Each order that I have ever placed has such an attention to detail that you can confidently recommend friends to come, and they will experience the same flavor explosion as the first time you went there. Upon arriving the staff was extremely friendly as always, providing me some insights on what burgers I could try next and even going as far as explaining in detail what the ingredients are like. Everyone was wearing masks, and all the tables were well over 6 feet apart from each other. You can also tell that they clean up after every guest and maintain a high sanitary standard. But now on to the good STUFF! The Burger. I ended up ordering the Grim reaper which is absolutely delicious. What makes this burger such a hit is this hint of pepper jelly(I know it sounds weird but trust me on this one) that gives it just the right amount of kick that has you craving for more after every bite. The meat was also well season and tender, where the juices were just flowing as you dug your teeth into this masterpiece. Overall, great grilled cheese spot but even better burger. Killer Melts, if you read the reviews here it all makes sense! I'm going to just recap what the other 400 plus reviews left, great food, great service, rustic look, and most important clean! We were greated by Abe who walked us through a first time menu browsing and made some great recommendations. I opted for a burger (American gangster) my daughter mac and cheese, and the last menu choice was the hit man a mac and cheese melt! All the food was perfect and service was bar none. The mac and cheese has a special sauce made with fresh cracked pepper and my daughter is not a fan! One bite and she was like nope... kids I know! But the fries were so good she kept eating them. Meanwhile we asked if there was mac and cheese with no pepper and unfortunately they didn't but they accommodated her with chicken tenders and all life was back to perfect! Lol. Again thank you Abe and staff here at killer melts you gained a new customer who will recommend as long as we can as this is the type of family service we need today! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Restrooms clean too! One small thing if you read this it says grilled cheese on top so look for that sign i would change that to killer melts as this is the name and deserves a spotlight on the top!
