Cafe La Carreta

First visit was in 2018 in mini Havana in Miami while waiting for a flight out to Virginia, best food ever. Saw this location in Miami international Airport and decided to give it a try. Food was excellant service was exceptional and prices were not outta line. Will definitely be back if visiting Miami International Airport. Xecel I believe his name was talked about Cuba and I shared photos of Cuba with him.

As a Cuban Cafe serving cuban sandwiches in a airport I would say they are really good. They are obviously a bit more expensive in the airport, but it was the closest hispanic food I could find that I was craving. I would recommend going here if you need a cuban sandwich to enjoy if your hungry in the airport.

I was very impressed with the service of this fast food cafe for an airport venue! The food and drink wasn’t even that expensive (although to me in AUD it still is) I ordered the Cuban sandwich and a café mocha and they had an efficient way of ordering on the left then paying out of the way on the right and collecting with a number system past that. The staff were extremely friendly both in Spanish and English and upon paying I was asked if I wanted to tip (and did) instead of being forced into it!

Located North Terminal in Miami airport. Ok selection of sandwiches & some sweets. Also serving beer. Seating is shared with La Carreta restaurant - more like a small food court. A sandwich to share with 2 beers would set you for around $30. Food is better than for example TGI but nothing to rave about.

Surprisingly good food at American Airlines "D" terminal in MIA. Had time to enjoy authentic Cuban cuisine while waiting for my connecting flight. Black bean and rice were perfect and Arroz Imperial as well. Had to wash it with a Materva soda and Três leches cake. Huge portions, fair prices and good service.
