The Arketekt By Aficionados

The highlight of living in Brickell! We stumbled on the bar to wait for our Airbnb host ... from the outside it looked unassuming but once inside we loved the vibes. The highlight were definitely the delicious drinks – better than in some $$$ cocktail bars. Try the whiskey sour and espresso martinis. We also loved the staff, Grace and Erin! Overall, Aficionados became our daily spot for pre-drinks and, sometimes, after drinks. Looking forward to returning when I'm in MIA again.

A friend of mine ordered champagne from Aficionados to celebrate my engagement. The order was apparently delivered but my apartment building package room was unable to locate the package. The manager at aficionados made the issue right by delivering a bottle to me directly within 20 minutes of my reporting the issue. Impressed with the customer service and looking forward to shopping at this location again for other celebrations, wine & spirit needs.

I've been dying to come here and was happy to be included in a media dine hosted by Monica G (follow her on Yelp & IG @k_r_e_a_m). I absolutely love the open space that makes for an ideal spot for large parties to mix and mingle without the hassle of getting in and out of tables. I absolutely loved the Bloody Mary as evident in the 3 I imbibed! Seriously yummy and the crispy bacon provided that much needed hangover ingredient. Totally enamored with the Mac and cheese !!! Wasn't overly fond of the still mooing churrasco, but then again I prefer my meat to be medium in temperature. It was a big chewy for my palette. DJ Mzmerize is off the chain with a mix that magically matched our mood from the flurry of excitement when we all arrived, to the food pictorials, to the abundant feasting and imbibing, to the state of chill which I'm currently taking this time to write this review. I want to thank everyone at Arketekt for the yummy experience!

Edit (aug, 14 2019) They changed the decorations and the general image of the bar, like it more now than before, ordered a variation of a plate on the menu and chef was able to deliver exactly what was ordered, drinks were good and prices affordable for the area, service was good and fast. Only thing i would modify to connect better on the ambient is the volume of the music. Overall a great experience for me and the group i was with. Would recommend and return. Previous experience: 4 / 5 stars Service - excellent Ambient and decor - excellent Drinks - good taste but could be cheaper Food - excellent (only had some to share with the table)
