Yoko Matcha

Lovely Place and great customer service! Just a had delicious Rose Matcha and my partner had a macadamia milk matcha and both of them were excellent. The barista, Dante was so nice and explained us all the types of matcha drinks they offer. We tried the lavender and earl grey ice cream and they were outstanding ! Looking forward to coming back.

Came to try it all the way from Kuwait! The place is as dreamy as it looks! I tried the vegan gluten free matcha pound cake & the ceremonial matcha with hot water. The cake was good but too sweet! The matcha was surprisingly gooddddd even though I didn’t add any milk or sweetener! Will def come back before I leave Miami! <3

Yoko Matcha (green tea drinks and desserts) and Dasher & Crank (ice cream) reside together here. For the matcha, I was a bit underwhelmed. The Matcha Waffle was dry and overly sweet with the white chocolate dipped portion. Not a fan. As for the drink, I went with the Military Matcha. It was served in a to-go cup and it was interesting with a strong earthy and coffee taste. I wished that they made it in a regular cup so I could see the layers as shown on the menu. Nonetheless, definitely gave me an energy boost that I needed for the day. The service was friendly though and I'd come back and try another drink. However, the ice cream from Dasher & Crank looked phenom! I definitely have to hit that part of the store up next time. I would have if I didn't already spoil my appetite with the waffle...

I am obsessed with matcha and did a whole matcha tour of Miami and Yoko Matcha is the best matcha out there! I have tried matcha all over the world, and have very high standards hehe. Yoko matcha hits the spot, is delicious and high quality. The shop is so cute, colorful and perfect for instagram photos! The owner, Chié Dambara, is from Japan and started Yoko Matcha in honor of her grandmother, Yoko Dambara : ).

The matcha drinks are not the best. They need so tweaking of the recipe since I feel like they use only one recipe regardless of the vegan milk they use. Almond and oat milk don’t taste the same as a solvent for matcha so that needs to be taken into account. The ice cream flavors are interesting though. And I liked that they have choices of multiple lactose free ice creams to chose from.
