Several friends and I went to this place for Valentine’s day. Took forever to order a drink. The waitress tells us we all have to order their closed menu which was $39 for a 3-course meal. They never told that to my friend who made the reservation on the phone. They only said the regular menu will not be available, instead there will be a closed menu. We speak to the manager. The guy keeps interrupting my friend as she’s trying to explain what happened. He compromises and says only half our party will be forced to buy the $39 meal. What a deal! Waitress comes back to take our order and mend the situation by telling us with attitude, “Don’t you think it’s common sense to assume you have to buy the meal when it’s a closed menu? Every restaurant on V-day charges at least $70 for closed menu meals today.” What excellent customer service! Not once did the waitress or the manager apologize to us for the mix up. New management has a lot to learn. My friend frequented Lola’s Gourmet in the past and always had a great time. After this, we all agreed we won’t be coming back. The only thing worthwhile was the band. Beautiful music.

Ok, i had really high expectations and they didn’t cover even the standard for a decent service. 1- we arrived at 7 and they told us the show would start at 8:30. 2- the menu has pictures of food that they don’t really offer and not even the waitress knows what it is. 3- the food... maybe they runout of salt that night. 4- the music... jajajajaja... ok, they have a cellphone with a Gipsy Kings play list and the music stopped 3 times because they were receiving phone calls so the waitress had to disconnect it to take the calls... 5- we left at 9:15 and the show didn’t start. 6- they don’t have personnel in the bar (the waitress was also attending it) we asked for traditional tequila shots and she gave us granadina tequila shot and charged us $10 per shot. So disappointed...
