Gusto Bites Miami Fl

I ran into the owner doing business at a spa near adventura. She was very nice. She had an organized modern push cart with an area for cold food, hot, & empanadas. Before I made a decision, I ask where the food was purchased, & she responded by telling me she & her team make everything fresh. I ended up getting a cauliflower quinoa cranberry salad with a light dressing, & a lentil soup. Both were seriously very good... Fresh, juicy, healthy, & packaged nice. Obviously came with napkins & utencils. She had the credit card attachment on a smart device, convience. The prices were very resonable, especially for healthy homemade food, virtually delivered. If you own a business with a lot of traffic, I recommend having them stop by.

I’m currently sitting in Gusto Bites. I’m halfway through the meal and already digging it. These guys are so polite and you can tell they’re very hardworking. Empanadas were fantastic. My favorite was the onion empanada (thank you Carolina for the suggestion!) Catch them on Postmates and GrubHub too. Will be coming back soon.

I hate leaving negative reviews on small businesses but I wish I would’ve found a review that would actually set the right expectations for this place. I ordered on Postmates and live about 5 mins away. -Lentil soup- spicy and sour. It’s edible but far from delicious. At least it was hot. -Chicken and beef empanadas- I know that “healthy” food is expensive but to me these are an absolute scam. Very small, protein was like a paste and flavor was ... I don’t even know. Arrived cold as if they were grabbed from last nights basket. -Lentil burger- It’s just a patty. Worst tasting veggie patty I’ve ever had as I usually find them super tasty. it’s $4... I didn’t expect the best burger for that price. Even a slider type would be fine. This was a plain, cold patty in a big container. No slaw like it shows in the picture. Call it a burger is super misleading. Please specify how it’s served. Nutella empanada- a little smaller than my ring finger. Found absolutely no Nutella in it. It was more like a teeny weeny apple pie and it was $2!!!!! I honestly have no idea wth was in that thing but it was not Nutella. I called them to ask if that’s usually how they serve their burgers and if I should be cooking it on my own and she said I can heat it in a pan if I want to lol. I told her I wanted to be fair if they actually just sell their burgers fridge cold. She proceeded to explain to me how it came with nothing else because you have the option to request it over a salad or something.... but that’s not what I asked. I wasn’t even complaining about the fact it was a plain patty. Debated whether to leave this review but I had to. I couldn’t believe my eyes. This order was $20 so if you plan to try them, I hope you have better luck with the quality but have the right expectation. Idk how the heck their reviews are so over the moon.
