I have had cubanos in Chicago at several places and have even had one in Havana Cuba but the cubano sandwich at Maria's is the best I have ever had.
Ok, it's been a year since this visit and being in Miami again I had to visit Maria's again. The food and coffee are great.

Helen beauty salon is top notch. Next to Maria's cafeteria; come by and get your full salon service. Tell them Melo sent you for VIP treatment. Para todos tus necesidades de salón vayan a Helen Salon díganle que Melo los manda!

Not totally a bad place , but needs improvement with cleanest and the staff is not too profesional , pretty much like all places in hialeah
