Lucila Cakes Miami

I would have given this a 0 star if I could have !!!! I more than understand that in this Pandemic we are living in, it’s very hard on everyone. Although I live in the Doral I drive the furthest to go to the Bird road location. I went last Monday to buy a rum Birthday cake for my moms 93rd birthday. I asked the lady a million times if the cake was fresh (being I’m so OCD) and she said “of ?? course! We only keep our cakes out for 2 days and than we throw away”. Again I said, pls are you sure this cake is fresh since it’s the last one I see. To make this short. THE CAKE WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL ! Absolutely no rum at all and was not fresh al all. I will never come here and I suggest you all to think of going somewhere else

20 years ago I had the most phenomenal wedding cake, vanilla rum. This is not the same cake. My understanding is the company was sold and is now run by a Venezuelan company that changed the recipe and reduced the rum. So disappointed. Next time Edda’s. I believe that is still one of the original partners from Lucila’s on coral way and 57th.

Amazing cakes!, growing up with a dominican family we always got cakes for all occassions in ny. Here in miami it was hard to find dominican cakes. When I found Lucilas cakes it reminds me of the same kind of cakes I had grown up with and with Lucilas special recipes, the cakes are moiste, and increadibly tasty. If you havent had a Lucilas cake you havent had good Cake! Carlos is specilly helpful with any orders that you place. His design team make it possible to making anything you want as far as a shape or even a design that you thought impossible, they make it!! Price is great, for the increadible work they put on these cakes....try them guaranteed to love these thems!!!

Had the best experience at Lucila Cakes. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating. They worked within my budget, answered all my questions and customized my cakes to my exact specifications. Ontop of that, the cake was delicious! We received raving reviews from all our guests. We ordered the traditional vanilla rum and the coconut with dulce de lychee (YUM). The designers they have here are true artists and this is a small business worth advocating for. A true Miami staple and a must try for everyone out there looking for a cake! Ordered a cake for my niece engagement party ,came to pick it up and surprisingly the order never was placed . Well they brought a cake 2 hours later and they refunded half of the total . I am not happy with the outcome I worked with customers and service them the way it should be. I believe when you made a mistake you should take full responsibility. I hope they learn with this and respond different next time. The cake was good but there is many other places with better cakes and much better services .

I have used Lucila Cakes for Birthdays and family gatherings for years and the cakes are always awesome! Not only do they look amazing, they taste great too! I recently got married and Lucila Cakes made us a perfect cake. As everyone knows, weddings are stressful, but the customer service and design team at Lucila Cakes made it such smooth and easy process. Everyone at the wedding (including my wife) couldn't have been happier with the cake. The Lucila Cakes family went above and beyond to make this a special day for my wife and I. I strongly recommend this family owned business for any cake and pastry needs!!!
