Pollo Tropical

Now Pollo Tropical has always been my favorite place to eat rice and beans and so far they have not disappointed me ever since. But now this meal took it to another level of great food. The Guac Tropi-Chop has to be the best tropichop they have so far. It has chicken or steak and guacamole all over the rice and beans. You have to try it with a guava Tropi-Chiller which was also great. Everything from the fried yuca to the sauce was amazing. Easily rate this a 10/10 for great food and price, freshness, and fast.

Being helper in a kids birthday party, and having someone in a diet is not a good combo. I ordered Uber eats for a tropichop. Took like 3 drivers to finally get the order, not the restaurant’s fault, I understand. However, a simple order of brown rice, lettuce, grilled chicken and grilled onions was missing the chicken ( el pollo!!!). No traces of chicken in the bowl so I can’t blame the delivery driver. I so ended up driving to the restaurant to make the claim. Took a while to get someone to come help and then a little bit more for the manager (?), not sure, he was dressed the same as everyone else. He was going on his break and barely gave me the chicken portion; you will think he would give me something extra for my bother ( other places have, it’s standard business practice as to not lose customers) or at least ask me if I needed anything else… a fork that I had to request after I went to my car and realize was missing from the bag. Maybe it’s better during the week, not sure. Will not order through Uber eats again, the priority fee was lost in that big delay, maybe because my order was small?

I went on wednesday after 2:00 pm. Ordered a Pork Tropichop, and what they gave me it seemed to be a vegetarian meal. Only a few little pieces of pork with lots of fat and veggies, veggies and more veggies. I don't understand why it's so difficult to serve the proper way with the proper amount of food that you should receive, you have to serve the way you would like to be served when it comes the time for Pollo Tropical's workers become costumers, think about it. Wait for almost 15 minutes on the drive thru line, pay $7.01 for this thing? Not worth it at all, I'm feeling very dissapointed. Hope this franchise start taking care of its costumers.
