Greek Mezetaverna

Could not fault the food or the service. Would have been 5☆ if it wasn't for having to enter via an enclosed outside seating area that was full of people smoking with no ventilation. Once inside the restaurant, there was still a smell of smoke. However, onto the food. Mezze sharer for two was excellent. Perfect size tasting platter. Mains were chicken gyros, this is served with amazing homemade chips, sliced pitta, salad and garlic sauce. I had a special grill for one, skewer of chicken, lamb and pork with a Greek sausage. All cooked to perfection, again served with pitta, chips, salad garlic and sweet chilli sauce. The gentleman that served us was very attentive and friendly. Overall a lovely experience. To the owners, please ventilate the smoking area!! 🙏

First visit to this restaurant and certainly won't be the last, arrived on a quiet Monday, early evening without a reservation, table for 4 persons, greeted by a friendly looking gentleman who provided outstanding service throughout our time there, the food was delicious, succulent lamb, real 'proper chips', and my first taste of Baklava was incredible, lovely little place I will definitely return and will definitely reccomend to others. Thank you for a very pleasant evening 😊
