Lingfield Farm

Good drinks, real ale, real food, the staff are real people. Rob and James are really sweet. Been coming here for years and they never disappoint. I recommend the fish and chips, they home make their batter and everything. Pizzas are good too, they have a proper pizza oven so you can have your real stone baked pizzas. Burgers are good too.

Our family have been going to the Lingfield for over 20 years - it's always nice as my late father-in-law went there regularly. We all had lovely meals on Sunday night with our son and his girlfriend, and as always Rob's service and banter were great... he created a fantastic atmosphere with his choice of sound tracks!!!

Very enjoyable afternoon. Food was lovely. Was not aware that Tuesday was 'bingo day' and might have changed to another day had I known. Was told a text had been sent to whoever had booked the table, re: bingo. but no such text was received. Due to previous experience of not everyone who says they're coming, actually showing up, I under booked as a precaution, but more people than were booked in actually turned up. As a result of the bingo being on, we were informed that this would be a problem, as all tables had been reserved, however, due to a cancellation, we were eventually accommodated and it all turned out fine. Did feel a little bit like we were being 'told off' to be honest, but we could understand things from the staffs perspective and it didn't affect our enjoyment of the day.
