Combs Bar-b-q- Central

Long story short I tried the other BBQ place before coming here. The difference is daylight and dark! I ordered the beef brisket at the other so-called BBQ restaurant and I threw 3/4th of it in the trash. It was disgusting! The next day I decided to give Combs a try. OMG THE BEEF BRISKET WAS SO GOOD! I'm not big on giving glowing reviews unless they are well deserved. And Combs deserves a glowing review. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you give Combs a try I promise you will not regret it. As for that other so-called BBQ restaurant in town don't waste your money. Combs on the other hand totally AMAZING!!!

I would really rate this a 3.5 stars. The sandwich- overall it was decent the brisket had good texture and a great dmoke ring but lacked smoke flavor. By the time I got to the car the bottom bun was soggy and the BBQ sauce taste like Arby's sauce. But the most important part was the meat and I'd eat it again Mac n cheese- overall good flavor but lacked salt n pepper Potato salad- was good old fashioned style Potato salad again lacked salt n pepper. I will return and give it a 2nd chance

A quick drive from Miami University Regionals Middletown campus, this is my go-to lunch place. Smokey pulled pork meets a sweet and tangy sauce. Paired with a soda and a side of delicious Mac-and-cheese … you can’t go wrong. Ample street and parking in the back. Friendly service and a nostalgic inside decor. Be sure to ask about the owner’s father, Keith Combs and which signs and guitars are his creations.
