Pizza Palace

We ordered 4 grinders and a salad. Normally the grinders are delicious- but tonight the meatball grinder was completely black from being burned. When we called to kindly tell him- they basically said that wasn’t true and that he personally wrapped them himself. So- here is a picture of the burnt meatball grinder and we will never go back.

I've had pizza from many pizza places in Middletown. Pizza palace by far is the best tasting pizza! Great pizza, great prices as well. I've only had pizza from here, so I can't speak about everything else on the menu, but as far as pizza...5 stars. Generous, and fresh toppings. Wife and kids loved it too.

I visited this pizza restaurant as a first time customer while staying at a hotel close by. As a teen in the 70's I worked at what I would argue was best pizza restaurant in the town of Southington. And so I am very tough to please when it comes to pizza because I could make my own. I typically scrutinize restaurants that make pizza that is too thin, or are very skimpy on toppings. Pizza Palace is far from that. Their pizza is nicely thicker, cooked perfectly, and compared to others-- they add a very generous amount of toppings, and of course I will notice the sauce. I've bought pizza at other places and walked away thinking the box weighed more than the pizza... NOT this one! If you're like me and prefer a thicker Italian style pizza and want to feel like you got a lot for your money, this is a great place to go. I got take out, but they have a really nice dining room too.
