Basille's Restaurant Pizza

I try not to leave bad reviews, however this was absolutely ridicules. I ordered two grilled chicken Cesar salads and it came out to FOURTY ONE dollars. Absolutely insane. $12 for a large salad plus $7 to add chicken. They did not even put the chicken in the salad or have the decency to cut it up. The food was average at best and certainly not worth $41. Can confidently say I won’t be going back!

OMG! I will never have any other Sicilian pie from anywhere else because Basile’s is superb! The amazingly tasty sauce, the crunchy and flavorful crust, and the perfect amount of cheese makes this the best pie I’ve had in a long, long time. This coming from an original Brooklyn girl!! I can’t get enough of this pizza. I’ve also had a few of their pastas which are yummy as well. Can’t go wrong here!

Just moved into the area. Born in Brooklyn (L&B), lived many years in S.I., I think I know good pizza and this place has it. Great crust, tasty sauce and good cheese. There's no oily runoff like when they use the cheap stuff. Haven't tried anything but the pizza and calzones and both were good. Even got some dough to make stromboli at home and it was perfect. In fact, I think I'll order some now for dinner. Yum.

I have never left a bad rating before at a restaurant, but I was just too uncomfortable not to. While waiting for our food after ordering, a woman behind the counter started to complain about our tip. Keep in mind, they have no servers and provide no customer service. So we did not even need to tip. In addition to that, the food itself was mediocre, but priced as if it were gourmet. $25+ for just okay-ish pasta is not it. Definitely do not recommend.

I ordered an Artichoke pie cause I had heard Basille's is known for it but while waiting I saw the pepperoni slice, the tiny little cup kind of pepperoni, had to have one! Yay! SO GOOD! Took my Art pie home with a couple Grandma slices which I warmed up day after....gotta say....I love their sauce, it's lightly caramelized ( which I also noted on the pep slice) and even reheated kept it's pleasant foldable soft crispy crust. The Artichoke pie was very, very tasty, rich and satisfying, would have loved it even more of the end crust could have been a bit more bready and puffed ( probably the wrong word to use when describing pizza crust but those who know probably know what I mean.

We placed an order through Doordash to Basille's for a vodka basil pie. This is how it arrived, two hours later. The driver may have been partially responsible for the presentation, however, the pie was burnt, bland, and missing basil. We also order an eggplant roll, which was undercooked and very doughy. Not sure if they had a bad night but we won't be ordering from here again.
