Dairy Queen

The workers were nice, but it took our food about 20 minutes and they forgot my son's blizzard. Then we placed an order to go, just for chicken strips and gravy, and it took 25 minutes. We had to ask about it before they realized. The food came and the chicken strips were dry and nor hot. You could tell they'd been sitting back there a while. It was my mom's birthday, so I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. They just seemed more interested in hanging out and eating.

The food and staff are wonderful, but the facilities are not very clean. The floor is perpetually sticky and there is a grime on a lot. I suppose its understandable being that it is attached to a gas station, but my family does not even eat inside the establishment. We either go outside to the picnic tables or take it home.

New owner and her daughter we're great Visited again last night. I think it will be our last visit. The last time was awful and last night even worse. Waited over 30 minutes for four ice creams and go up to ask only for them to tell me they were out of a flavor but didn't find it a priority to come let me know. Waited another 10 minutes to actually get it. They had one register open, all kids working, and lines of people out the door. But still should have come to tell me they didn't have what we ordered.

This is a Dairy Queen that is located inside (with a separate entrance) a convenience store. They have hot food items, frozen ice cream items, and all your normal fresh ice cream favorites. The staff was friendly and the store was clean. There is some seating inside, some outside, and multiple parking spots.

This place is a joke. First, the cashier is waiting for pennies, which is holding up the line. Then after you order, they give you your drink and you wait for your food. No problem, until your food comes and you have to ask for your sunday or your blizzard, that comes with the meal. They are never on top of anything and have no idea what's going on. You need better organization on your food orders. Your customers shouldn't have to ask for a bag to carry their food, you the server should ask, especially if it's "to go". It's no wonder, why you never see the same person more than twice, in that place serving. PROPERLY TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE. Do something, instead of standing around wondering what to do.

I've frequented Dairy Queen for over 40 years and this location and staff is by far the worst. Half the equipment doesn't work...lights above the toppings we're not working...and the employees all sit on the counters on the front line like it is acceptable to sit where food is prepared. The store is filthy dirty and the employees are untrained. Done ranting...just don't go there.
