Brianna's Pizza

Pros: Very friendly staff, pretty clean eating area, and decent prices. Cons: The pizza is just plain not good. The crust tastes like white bread, without any hint of yeast, olive oil, or other seasoning. The sauce is unique in a bad way. It tastes like salsa. I want this place to be good, but the pizza needs serious improvement.

I usually dont say anything unless i have something nice to say, however, I will make an exception for this place. The employees are nice but I don't think they know enough about running a restaurant to be running one. It took approximately an hour to get our pizza. I figured out the reason it took so long is because someone called in an order of ten pizzas, so they cooked the call in order first and had to wait for the oven to warm back up to cook ours. Well, I don't care if those other people called in before we came in, they should consider their in house customers first and foremost. Also, the place is so small that even though there was only one more family eating there, it was almost unbearable because of their 3 screaming toddlers. We couldn't hear each other talk over these kids. There is a television in there, however, the helps kid had control over the remote and we were stuck watching Dora the Explorer. When we finally got the pizza it was ok at best. They did hook us up with another mediocre pizza. The sauce and cheese was good but there were hardly any toppings, and the crust was flavorless and soggy. Sorry about the bad review, but it is the truth.

If I could give Brianna's a negative rating, I would. This is hands-down the worst pizza joint and one of the top three worst restaurants I've ever been in, and I'm an adventurous eater, so that's saying A LOT. The actual cafe smells like a sewer and when you visit the (world's creepiest) bathrooms, you'll know why. In addition to the embarrassing smell and nasty restrooms, there is trash visible everywhere--old chairs and broken furniture/appliances that should have gone to the dump years ago--IN THE DINING ROOM! Besides the environment, the pizza crust is raw/doughy and the toppings just greasy mess. I write this because it is a crime (and telling about how recently they've been inspected) that Brianna's doors are still open. I don't get what earlier reviews found in Brianna's.

I only gave three stars because i ordered a Chicago style pizza and they make a regular deep dish pizza. It was a good pizza, but wasn't a real Chicago style with the cheese on bottom, meat in the middle, and sauce on top. Please make the Chicago style an authentic Chicago style pizza or just call it a deep dish.
