Applebee's

Had a great visit to Chili's on December 24th, 2021. The waitress was very nice, drinks and food were delivered promptly and tasted great. Checkout was easy with the kiosk on the table and I was able to leave a custom amount for a tip. The rewards program is a plus but not the reason I visit. The food has definitely improved over the last few years and I'll be back for more when I want a quick and good meal.

We tried the new waffle Beer Cheese and bacon fries. If you get a chance, take it! They were very tasty even though they weren't that warm/hot at all. I also tried the new Bahama Mama drink with Banana liquor and other stuffs, and it was very tasty. I would have given this particular visit five stars but my steak was very tough and way too overcooked. They had me check it when I first got it and of course by my luck the one spot that I cut into looked perfect but it was the only spot on it that was. I also am very disappointed in the fact that you can't get a baked potato at Applebee's anymore. Although the garlic mashed potatoes are good people want a baked potato with their steak, myself included! Our waitress was very friendly and very prompt and checked on us quite often which was very appreciated. The only thing that didn't come to our table that we asked for was A1 but it's probably because the waitress it took our order did not deliver our food. It was a very young man with a headset and a red shirt I didn't catch his name but it was odd to me that I asked him if he had a one and he looked at me dumbfounded and said, "well I think they probably do". He then went and got us a bottle of it. I just thought his reaction to that question was odd considering you are an employee in a food restaurant that offers steak on the menu. But overall it was a decent experience even with the food flaws. But once again, try the new waffle fries because they are very good and I would assume probably even better if they're a decent temperature.

Did Door dash delivery for my order of Boneless Wings and an order of onion rings. I received exactly 5 onion rings in a fry cup for $4.09!! and some Buffalo chicken crumbs for $13.79!! The person whom “packed my bag with care” also forgot my ranch. Over $30!! For that? Times are tough, and sometimes I like to treat myself, but that was a disappointment. *Photo posted

The food was okay not the best. The biggest problem I had was her server. We had empty plates sitting at the edge of our table waiting for her to pick them up which she must have come by at least six times without taking them. I had to holler at her to come and give us drinks when they ran out please I returned 20 minutes after we got our food to see if everything was fine. Understanding servers only make $2.13 an hour and so we depend on their tips to be able to pay their bills server should take note because I will not tip if you don't do your job.

Most regrettable experience I have encountered at Applebees. The manager on duty 3/24/22 at 1700 hrs., failed miserably when he was asked to have the table top wiped clean. Unfortunately, when we sat down I didn’t notice that table hadn’t been wiped clean. The server cleaned it, sort of, but missed the outer edge in front of me. I requested the manger, as he was the only employee present, to assist us. At which time he came over for a visual inspection. And just stood there, prompting me to say “well, can you just get a towel and wipe the table”? All of this is to say we left. The manger receives a “F”.

Mozzarella sticks were great for our appetizers. Steak was delicious, garlic mashed potatoes were barely warm. I was brought new HOT 🔥 potatoes that were nice but after dinner was over. The mac and cheese was gross. Penne pasta noodles for mac and cheese? Taste was nasty. 🤮 Not the 20th Anniversary dinner I was hoping for. 😔
