Dairy Queen

Waited in line for 30 minutes and were there 20 minutes prior to close. We finally got up to the window and were told they were closed and would not take our order. When you have people waiting in line and can see there is a long line outside the respectful thing to do is at least go tell people you won’t serve them once 9:30 hits on the dot. I have worked for fast food before and we always served customers even if it was past closing time if they were in line before that time. Super unprofessional, won’t be coming here again and looking at the comments this happens all the time so might be time for management to address the issue.

I already had a low opinion of Dairy Queen before I visited. My latest experience solidified that further. Nothing outstanding made it bad, just a handful of small things. The wait was long. It's expensive. I felt like nobody wanted to be there (including the customers). The mint in my thin mint girl scout ice cream was so thin, not even Ant Man could have found it in the quantum realm because I didn't taste any. Some lady cut in line in the drive through. Dairy Queen is about the last place I want to chill.

At the sign ready to order when the light goes out they say they are closing at 9:30.....but it's only 9:28 , the girl says too bad we are closed. There were cars ahead of me and getting orders..When we said we wont come back to DQ she was ok with it and says ok have a nice day in a smirking way. We called the manager and even though she said that we should not of had an experience like that from the employee really I didnt have relief from her either. We drove over 30 minutes to get there and had the most dismissive experience. The food may be good but some of the workers su*k and we could do without their food on general principles. THIS WAS MIDLAND MICHIGAN STORE ON SOUTH SAGINAW RD. Please consider food at a more people oriented organization.....at least on time to make a point! Thank you fellow food lovers. P.S. On all the bad reviews I noticed no effort was given to rectify our experiences by enticing us with refunds or gift certificates/coupons. So why come back to waste more money and bad emotions?

Unfortunately my first and last visit at this location wasn’t idea. Fries were cold, but the gross part, is that i ordered a coke with my meal, we got the window and my daughter was sitting in passenger seat watching through the window while we were talking. The young girl inside took a regular 2L coke bottle off the counter. Warm and flat with no lid on it, and poured it into my cup. My daughter started laughing and the girls saw we were watching through the window and turned their backs to us and finished filling my cup. It was warm. Flat. And gross! That is not that we ordered and definitely can’t be okay… maybe just say “we’re out of coke” next tome. Won’t be returning.
