Hakka Spice

I have gotten food from here numerous times. I absolutely love their Szechuan Chicken! I have gotten their lunch special a few times and it was also very good. Plus their customer service is simply excellent. The lady that always takes my order is so sincere and gracious. She understands how to greet and talk to customers.

Mediocre, main gravies taste watery so don't know what the flavour is. Ordered here few months ago was also disappointed with the watery taste of all the gravies, tried to give it another chance tonight but it was a waste of money. Not sure where all these positive reviews are coming from. This place was decent 4-5 years ago but not anymore but I am not coming here again anymore. Ordered the following: 1. Beef Hakka Chow Mein - 3/10 Bland. 2. Deep Fried Tiger Prawn Shrimp - 3/10 strong taste of a specific spice overpowering the dish, can't pinpoint it 3. Schezuan Chicken - 1/10 It looks bright, red, flavorful but you can't tell the taste because it just tastes like someone put a lot of water in it and diluted all the flavor. I am ordering gravy, not water with a splash of gravy. Very disappointing.

I ordered chilly chicken and chicken fried rice and by far this was the worst quality food I have ever had in Mississauga. If you are unaware of chilli chicken recipe, I would ask you to please check YouTube and get a clear idea. The rice in chicken fried rice was uncooked and frozen vegetables were used which was also uncooked. The quality of this place has deteriorated so much and I would never recommend this place.

Tried this place a couple weeks ago. Hidden little gem, the teller was extremely pleasant they needed time to make my order but well worth the wait. Everything was freshly made and everything extremely tasty. I forget which chicken dish I had and tried their shrimp pakoras, all fresh and well portioned. Will be ordering from here again.

I came here when the restaurant was not busy, but they took a very long time to get the food out to the table. There was a miscommunication and food was ordered wrong. I got chicken red curry. The chicken was not good although the gravy was good. I originally thought I ordered beef, I think it may have tasted better with the beef. However the price point and portion sizes are good. The quality of food can be improved.

Seems like this little gem was tucked away and known by everyone, except for us. Trying something a little new and following the recommendation of a friend we ordered a few dishes from Hakka Spice this weekend. Garlic shrimp, Hakka Szechuan Chowmein, and paneer butter masala. The hard part will be to try new things in the future as we were blown away with the flavour of these three and found dishes we could order on repeat over and over. Flavourful with good sized portions, this is not a spot that will leave you hungry, but will leave you wanting more.

👎👎👎Hakka spice guys, please don't serve old foods to customers. We are paying the charges you ask for. I had vomited 5 times after eating fried rice and chilly chicken( high c? amount of MSG) from your restaurant yesterday. The paneer in the soup was rotten. Please be careful when you are serving milk based dishes. 👎👎👎

We ordered 3 dishes. Chilli chicken dry, chicken hot n sour soup and Momos. Chicken Momos were 3/5 but soup was super tangy, there was no taste of Chinese soup and chilli chicken was just a fried chicken topped with some onion and ginger garlic. No Chinese flavors to it and salty too. Very disappointed. We ordered seeing the ratings of 4.3 but it’s not at all worth the hype. It deserves 3.3 rating.
