Shish Mahal Indian Cuisine

I have been eating here consistently for nearly three years and I've tried many Indian restaurants in the GTA. I can confidently say The Shish Mahal is my all time favourite Indian restaurant. From the quality service to the pleasant experience with the owner and chef, this place is everything I like in a small local restaurant. The butter chicken and naan are my personal favourites. Garlic naan is also great. I eat the chicken and fish tikka weekly. The pakora and samosas are great starters. Love to end my meal with their gulab jaman for dessert. The reason I always find myself coming back is I don't find their dishes to be oily and they use quality meat. Happy to recommend this place to all friends and family.

Lovely Indian Food Experiance We were recommended to visit Shish Mahal to try it as we were planning on catering for a function we hosted. The waiter was very helpful and accommodating, offered us a lot of options and advises etc. We loved the Butter Chicken and the Kebab, they have a license so liquors can be purchased. We enjoyed our food so much that we gladly ordered for the catering for our function.

Food is really good. The atmosphere is boring and the buffet is tiny. However the food that is at the buffet is quite good. I have only been there for lunch buffet during the week but I am always satisfied every time I go. A good spot in the area for lunch during the work week. I would not bring a date here on the week though, there are better places.
