Morals Village Hot Pot

Love this place. Super clean, staff very friendly and everything tasted delicious. Now they provide disposable cups (for drinks) and chopsticks. You now order on paper instead of verbally. I do not speak Mandarin so this helped so much - in the past somethings got lost which is understandable. Thank you for a great night out! Staff wore masks and gloves during service and at least 1 server was in the room at all times. Would go again!

All the people who rated this place 1 star are tripping. This place is good. Exactly what i expected. They auto charge 12% tip which is pretty low so not sure why people complain. Go eat fast food or move to asia if you dont want to tip. Restaurant is clean. Food tastes great. Good variety of options to throw in the hot pot and sauces. Similar experience to happy lamb next door. Ayce came out to $40. Only complaint is price is a bit high and no dessert. But ill give it 5 to balance all the trolls who gave 1

I wanted to give this place good rating when I first walked in. It is one of the cleanest chinese restaurant I've been. However, the price was ridiculous. Yes, it was the weekend so I didn't mind paying 27.99 per person for AYCE hotpot. BUT! They make you PAY EXTRA for BROTH!! (Between $5~13 on top of what you pay) This is a hotpot place, so why isn't broth included in the price??? It is my first time where I had to pay extra for broth in a HOTPOT RESTAURANT. Is this some new trend that I haven't been aware of?? (Please, anyone comment if this is a norm now and I do not know about) They should really say it starts 33 dollars and up. The only reason I'm giving this place 3 star is, because at least the ingredients were fresh and overall taste is pretty good. Value is just not good.

They automatically apply a 12% tip charge to your bill after actively giving you food poisoning - even if you’re less than a party of 8-10. The raw meat comes out completely frozen for you to flash boil in your pot and when you tell the manager, you get a screaming session in front of ALL the other customers. Shrimp is stuffed with pork FYI - so if you have any food allergies or restrictions, the staff won’t tell you much. Also - the meatballs are extremely rubbery that they bounce off your table if your chopsticks accidentally slip. If you wish to experience any of the above, please visit today!! I would have given this 0 stars if Google allowed me to.

No option for -10 so I guess 1 star it is even though they are undeserving of it. Service was terrible. Sauce bar was mostly empty and when asked, they had just shrugged their shoulders and continued to be unresponsive. The amount ordered would always come in extremely small quantities and you never receive what you ordered. They talk behind your backs thinking that you do not understand and don’t realize that there are people out there that are multilingual. Terrible service. They need a turnover in staff or new coaching. My family and I will never return: I will also recommend to others that they do not attend this place. Save your money.

This was our first experience and it will be the last. We went for the AYCE option, so on top of the price you also have to pay for the hot pot! You ask for soup base and head to the cold section where all the meats, seafood, and veggies are kept in fridges. Most of the items are labeled, but some are in Chinese with no English translation. The quality of the selections are standard. Carefully, inspect what you take as some of the meats were slimy! One of my friends actually got food poisoning from this place. Service is almost non-existent. You have flag someone down to just get something. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant until they improve their service and food.

If I could give 0 stars I think I would've. The service was slow. The amount we ordered on the sheet was a lot smaller portion even though 20 pcs was ordered. When we asked for the manager they told us she said she would come later. She was trying to justify the servers mistakes. They also talked behind our backs in Cantonese and Mandarin thinking we did not understand. But in the end the people complained on why we did not tip. More worth it to go to their competitor Happy Lamb. Never coming back again. I hope this review will spare others some time and trouble.
