We popped in for a coffee initially but had an all day breakfast in the end. The service was impeccable, the staff were lovely and the food was great!!
We will definitely be back the next time we hit Monmouth!!

Lovely welcoming experience. We did not book and they catered for 7 of us. Lovely home made food, friendly places great atmosphere. They waitress was so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for the great service!! We will be back

Great range of local ales and ciders, lovely atmosphere. Food is good here too. Recommended if you’re visiting Monmouth.

First visit today and will certainly be back , met friends for lunch had jacket potato it was a decent size and a nice crisp side salad with nice dressing. Girl behind bar was lovely ,friendly and nothing was too much trouble, Christmas dec were tasteful and made by her too. The only downside was coffee wasnt as strong as other Amercano I've had. Hence 4 stars

Turned up for lunch with partner and puppy. We sat outside and it was lovely. Service was amazing, the food was lovely and 3 courses on a Sunday for £17.90 was a great price. We will be back for sure 😊

Brilliant pub had some lovely food and drinks here overlooking the river sat outside on the patio up high watching the world go by.. The meal was a little slow to come out but it was very busy and it was worth the Wait.... . Would recommend

Awesome pub, in fact one of the best in Monmouth. And with the Quiz night on Thursday a stack of fun.
The outside seating has the best views of any pub in Monmouth (the Punch House is cool as well). Onna summers evening sitting over the river Monnow with the setting sun lighting up the Bridge is a joy.

We got there on a sunny Sunday afternoon and headed for the terraces to find there was a live band on and they were good too. Great atmosphere and a perfect Sunday afternoon by the river and bridge. Would have ha 5 stars but returned the next night to eat at 7:55pm to be told the kitchen closed at 8. Pity this isn't published on website etc. We presumed it would close at 9.

This place was absolute perfection for me. The food was stunning across the board, couldn't fault it. The music was upbeat and inviting. The staff are really approachable and welcoming and have great hospitality. This is one pub & restaurant in South Wales you don't want to skip out on.
