Wonderful stop off on route from midlands to South Wales.
My wife had a lovely apple and cinnamon scone while I had the triple chocolate scone with Nutella and salted caramel spread. Fantastic.

Dog friendly, very welcoming and enthusiastic staff. Fantastic kids section with toys and games, as well as craft packs available to buy and either do in store or takeaway. Unique selection menu items, including a variety of homemade scones. 😋 wasn't keen on the salad dressing, which is the only reason for the mark down. Other than that, faultless. Kids portions are ample! Will be going again I'm sure!

Valerie's Cakes 🍰🎂 dog 🐶🐕 friendly, customer service very friendly, worth a visit, an independent lovely tea/coffee shop. Freshly baked scones - you can tell. With lovely cream and a choice of lots of yummy jams. Before 2pm, other food, too.

Everything you thought you knew about the scone will be exponentially exceeded. Tastes and textures to expand your horizons. Lemon and coriander was vibrant and emphatic. The pear and black pepper we took away to eat later was exquisite. Seriously the best and most different scones I have ever eaten.

Delightful little cafe where scones (sweet and savoury) are the house speciality. The ‘breakfast en scone’ was excellent, a lighter take on a traditional English breakfast. Service was friendly and efficient too.

Stopped here for a quick coffee and cake but ended up with full breakfast and savoury scone.
Sat in the court yard which was peaceful.
The full breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The team were great at advising which topping to have with it. It was the best scone I've tasted, cooked by Kieran, the husband.
Went back later for a lemon scone and walked away with 2 more for our tea!!!
Highly recommended.
