Wasabi Japanese Cuisine

This place was amazing. Their miso soup was delicious. After going back for more soup an hour later, my assistant told them I wasn't feeling well and also ordered and was charged for a small portion of hibachi rice. We recieved a large order of chicken hibachi rice (which was very good), and the yound lady at the front who took my order added a cup of hot water, chrysant tea, jasmine tea, and puerh tea as well as a cup of longan jujube/dates. She even went out of her way to walk to my hotel across the street after she did not see my assistant in the lobby and left a kind note saying "Google the tea. Choose what you like. Hope you feel better. ♥️ Wasabi"

The food from the grill was really good and the sushi was also good; however the service was really lacking. The waiter we had was very distracted and cleaning other tables while taking our order and even though he did write down what we ordered but because he was so distracted he forgot something that we ordered. He did bring it very quickly after we reminded him of the forgotten order but I believe that it could have been avoided if he simply focused on our table while ordering then cleaning afterwards. Then, when the sushi was delivered, it was just placed on the table and we weren't told which sushi was what (which they have done at all of the other sushi places that we have been to). Also, none of the staff actually seemed happy to be there. Overall, the food was good, the restaurant was clean, and I enjoyed my time here but I just wish the staff was a little more organized and friendly. Not horrible, but not the best.

A colleague and I visited this location today for lunch. It’s in a great up and coming area, just 2 from the office. We weren’t greeted due to the busy staff. The decor was nice but the seat cushions were dirty with stains. although there were people dining in, we went against our better judgement and decided to order anyway. We ordered the chicken and shrimp combo plates to go. people... I kid you not, our food was missing half of its normal portion. When we inquired the host became agitated speaking loudly stating that if we came there regularly we’d know that their lunch portions are “kiddie “ portions. Then he yelled “ do you wanna see?!” And opened another customer’s take out box to show us their portion size.. this was simply unsanitary and unprofessional. To top it off, when we returned to office to eat.... The food was not seasoned and the rice tasted old. I’m giving 1 star for the poor customer service , menu misrepresentation ( why call it a combination plate when it lacks the proper portions?) , and for the stale food. I'll never return to this establishment. Save your money

Here for Dinner during business trip through Montgomery. Service was simply outstanding and very attentive. We had sushi roll dinner special for $22 each. Large size rolls were very good, I had Crunchy Roll and Salmon Lover. Both rolls were very tasty and well made. Everyone has different tastes in sushi but I would recommend this place to anyone. I will certainly return on my next trip.
