Kyo Bar Japonais

Due to the rain today we opted to try going into Kyo Bar instead of where we had our reservation. We could not be more pleased with the chance events that occurred leading us to this amazing place. The food was to die for. Luckily they had one table avaliable! We shared all our dishes. Our favorite was the chef's choice Maki which included sushi not included on the menu. It was so so good !!! Also if I could recommend anything, you absolutely have to order the donuts. I would come back to this restaurant just because of how good the donuts were. Don't think just go! You will not regret it.

Great experience eating here! We tried five different dishes and two cocktails on the menu, and none of them disappointed. The atmosphere was fun and lively, with reliable safety measures (for Covid-19). Most of all, the service is fantastic! Waiters and waitresses were kind and enthusiastic; shout out to Kevin who was super friendly and gave us a great menu recommendation. Definitely will be back :))

Excellent food, surprising music. So I decided to come again to this place. It wasn't just lucky to have excellent Japanese food the first time. High quality seems to be constant. I have read here a review mentioning the weirdness of the type of music they choose. Certainly not Japanese or anything that evokes the delicate spirit of this Asian gastronomy. Here, you can drink delicious sushi accompanied by excellent sake and be surrounded by Japanese motives while listening to salsa, even bachata. The employees do their best to help you have a great time. I was delighted listening to the detailed explanations about the options they had in the menu of sakes. So yes, maybe the music is not what you would expect, but perhaps it is intended, so you never forget this restaurant and refer it to a friend.

Great ambiance, service and apps. (Music was awesome) Reason why it gets those three stars. Sushi however was on par or less quality than mall sushi, bland insides super small for a 15$ roll! Acacado ontop was brown, stick with the apps and cocktails, and ambiance that’s what this place is for. Keep your expectations on sushi at the door. And have fun!
