We went for the tasting menu and the food was great. each dish had many powerful flavors. The saffron risotto with prawns was amazing. However, service was a disaster: - Very, very slow, after 1 hour in the restaurant we only tried 2 different plates out of 5. - I got served tap water on my glass that had already been filled with bottled water - Got served one of the dishes without having knife & fork on the table - One time when they brought the food and didn't explain what it was (we got tasting menu) and just said FISH and laughed. ¿?¿? Fix the service and the experience will be 5 stars.

The service was lovely, food was really good and playful. Prices are really reasonable for the quality. I'd recommend going here in a group of 3 or more, I didn't particularly get a romantic vibe plus you can get more tapas! Vertige also has event's frequently from what the waitress said, we went for wine pairing curated by Olympian Alexandre Bilodeau. Here are 4 out of the 6 courses and 1 pairing in the photos. There's no parking and the decor is nothing special. this place is all about the food and wine.

I LOVED this place. My boyfriend and I were in town and someone recommended this place to us. We went on a Thursday evening, so we were able to take advantage of their 6 tapas for $29... such a great deal. We each got 6 different tapas and loved it. Of course, the tapas were very small, but I definitely felt full by the end. The escargo was out of this world! I also loved the chicken. Can't wait to go back next year!

In the cute Duluth street, i'm not sure that vertige really specializes in a specific style. The food is strongly classic but well done. Obviously, I noted the very cool wine cork tables, covered with corks of nice producers from around the world with a strong portuguese majority, at least for the one table I was seated at. The wine list is very interesting too! And extremely affordable. All the wines are between let's say 20 and 55$ with a great overall quality for the price. This is a huge advantage. If you go on a warm sunny day, the huge sliding windows might be open for you to enjoy fresh air.
