My wife and I loved this restaurant! We were overwhelmed with all of the options and got lucky pulling this one off of a long list. The drinks were really well done, the food was excellent, and the servers and staff even better. If you're reading this to see where you should get food in Montreal, consider this your last review. Stop looking, call and make a reservation.

This place is a little gem. Upscale casual atmosphere when you walk in, nicely decorated with lots of features to look at. The menu is a tapas style tasting menu. Ideal for a group or couple to share multiple items slowly. If you are a little more hungry get a few items and enjoy it slowly, but if you get a few items it can a little pricy. Although the service is prompt once the next item is ordered. Food presentation is great lots of colour and flavour. Al Pastor was great with fresh mango and pork. Mango Salad was tasty also. Everything I had I really enjoyed! Margarita’s were good also! Sat at the bar alone and had a friendly conversation with Alejandro who treated me as a special guest. I will be back many times.

I ordered for take out as I live across the street and I saw extremely positive reviews. I lived in Mexico for 6 years and I am a million percent confident the owners and the chefs are not Mexican and never have they ever ate a good taco. I ordered 1 of each taco, and each one of them was more disappointing than the last. I am shocked of all these positive reviews, 1) they are fake or 2) these people have very below average taste buds and palate. The porc and chicken tacos were frozen and not even re heated properly. The fish smelled too fishy a classic sign of old frozen fish!!! The cabbage, lettuce, jalapeños were extremely subpar quality, very very old. The ingredients in each taco did not complement each other - it was absolutely distasteful. The only item that seemed relatively fresh was the corn tortilla but even so...they were rubbery for more than half the tacos. I am so shocked and so disappointed that I wasted 98$ in this place. I also tipped the waiter 15% for my takeout, which was not an issue since she was very nice. The owners should be disgusted and embarrassed by their own behaviour as they are ruining the industry and have the audacity to call themselves a traditional Mexican restaurant!!! I invite everyone who reads this review to go ahead and order 1 taco and witness for yourself how disgusting this food is!!! Even 1 taco would be too much profit for a disgusting place like this who have no respect for their customers. To the owner and the chefs please get a grip of reality, just because u can scam customers does not give you the right to do so!!!!! To the owner the least u could do is quality check ur food and buy fresh ingredients!!!!! U should be ashamed of yourself for wasting our money and time. Disgusting.
