I just ate at Ferreira Café tonight and felt complied to leave the best review I could, because it truly deserves it. As a matter of fact, I’d be very happy to give this place a seven out of five with stars to spare. The ambiance is great, it’s lovely to watch the chefs make your food, and the service was the best one could hope for. The food, however, was no less than divine. It was a revelation—the sort of food one could imagine being eaten in heaven, or Mount Olympus or wherever, but it’s here, in Montreal, and you’re spooning or forking it onto your tongue, and it’s beyond words.

Great Portuguese restaurant. Beautifully and createvely served delicious food. Reservations recommended. Metered parking on the street, not always easy. I enjoyed this place, will be coming back often. Try the Bouillabaisse. It is amazing. The duck confit risotto is also great.

Not impressed. Had dinner at the bar and there was zero ambiance. The restaurant is loud, bustling, saturated with repetitive club/techno music.
I ordered a martini and grilled calamari to start, but because the atmosphere was underwhelming and overwhelming at the same time, and the calamari could otherwise be listed as “nothing special in oil”, I decided not to have dinner there. I’m not sure why the reviews are so great. It’s just not for me.

The Octopus was the best we've ever had. The same goes for the grilled sardines. It was just an incredible meal. This is one restaurant where you cannot go wrong.

After being away for a few years my wife and I returned to celebrate my birthday.
The food was delicious with nice presentation and helpful staff. Upon finding out why we’re celebrating the staff brought out an incredible birthday dessert with a candle. We will return.

The seafood is fresh, the service is great, the cocktails and their imported wine is phenomenal and the food is prepared by a master.

A fantastic experience we love it so much excellent quality and indescribable taste. Impeccable service and a great selection of wines. Recommend to anybody wanting to have a good time in Montreal.
