Wow! From the service to the food to the ambiance, the whole experience was just extraordinary!! I was sitting at the bar and the bar tender Olivier was very nice and he had good stories to tell. When we arrived , the host gave us a tour of the entire restaurant since they just renovated the whole place ! Now they have three different sections and all different vibe! The food was filled with flavours and very unique. I have been to many high end resto and this is the winner of me I must say. Better than Toqué even ! Hats off to the young chef Sami!! Also the owner of the two was there and he greeted us very nicely. I would definitely go back here in a blink of an eye.

Amazing Find! Discovered on 2nd day in Montreal. Was so impressed with all of the staff. Every plate of food we tasted was so full of complexity and flavor - from Carrot Medley appetizer to entrees ranging from Lamp Chop and Quail - both outstanding. Would definitely return again on next visit to Montreal! Interior was nicely laid out and appealing!

The food was fantastic, as was the wine, however the service has been somewhat 50/50. Sometimes we've had an amazing waiter who was exceptionally kind, extremely attentive and helpful, other times we've gotten one particular waiter who seems extremely annoyed that an American dares enter his place of work and ask for a table, despite our generous tipping tendencies. So I guess if you can handle an indignant french waiter in the event you get him, it's well worth enduring the somewhat comical attitude, as the food is fantastic.

Wonderful restaurant with amazing food! So well presented, it looks like a work of art. Bravo to the chef and also to the amazing staff! Service is amazing! Each dish is well explained. You want to go back for the delicious flavorful food and also for the great attentive service!!! Thank you Maxim (manager) for your exception service! 2 hours in and not a warm dish yet! We were overall disappointed with the tasting menu experience. The first five dishes were all cold. The main dish was filet mignon, which was only as big as two bites and lukewarm and very bland. The desserts were extremely sweet and nothing impressive. I had much better experience at La Fantome and didn’t come out of the restaurant hungry as I did here. To be fair, the only good thing was the wine pairing. Considering the big bill I would never go back and do not recommend this place at all.

A textbook example of 5 stars: excellent food, excellent service, great location and ambiance. As it is a bit pricy we go about twice a year, but they always remember us and they do something special. Full disclosure: I only get the tasting menu, but it is always great. Also their catering service is fantastic.

I used to come here semi-regularly a few years ago then didn't come for a few years, but had a work function right before the holidays and thoroughly enjoyed it! The food was exquisite and the staff was very friendly! However, I had a whisky sour before dinner and it was dreadful. I think they'd be better off sticking to the classic recipe...
