Great modern diner - family owned and locally sourced/supported food. Overpriced $$$+ to be expected in downtown Montreal, however food portions and taste was not mind blowing. Drink menu was great! Fun cocktails that tasted delicious. Seating was mostly booths and comfortable. They have tables/chairs upstairs. Server was fun and personable knew the menu well.

I really cannot praise this place enough. I first discovered it many years ago and it is always my first supper in Montreal spot when I return ALWAYS the best food, the best service, fun ambience. The cocktails are fun and creative. The food though, my gosh. Such a fun twist on American classics. Probably good I don't live in Quebec or I'd weigh a lot more bcuz of this place 😅

We went to Montreal for a weekend trip and found Deville Dinerbar while walking to find a restaurant to eat at. Great selection for their dinner menu and they also have a great cocktail menu. We ordered some burgers, mac and cheese, chicken with fries, the hanger steak and of course a strawberry milkshake and some cocktails. We also couldn’t pass up trying their famous beignets. We were so impressed by the service and food we went back again for dinner but were so disappointed they were closed on Sunday. Our server was so friendly and amazing! My family still talks about Deville Dinerbar and look forward to when we can come back to Montreal to eat here again!

The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars is the first star for the place decoration which is very nice and the other one for the service more specifically for the waiter Jay Z who was very nice and professional with the service. The place is overpriced and not worth it at all, I ordered steak sandwich which was barely done that I couldn’t chew it or even cut it with my teeth! Which is annoying considering the price I paid! Drinks are not bad but still pricey. not recommended

The service was outstanding, our waiter named Sam took great care of us. He gave us suggestions which turned up to be amazing. The fat cat burger, calamari rings and pain perdu are some of the many must tries. The food was delicious and the presentation was top-notch. Also I’ve heard that they are about to have new items on the menu can’t wait to try them out.

Ahi tuna tacos so recommended! Southern fried chicken salad, huge portion and very tasty sauce. Cajun salmon, comes with the best rice i ever had, the pobano rice is just so good you must try. La porchetta burger for roasted meat and onion marmalade lovers. Dinerbar club if you like chicken, very good portion. Texas toast steak sandwich, very good simply. Roscoe’s house of chicken and waffle, chicken is tasty but not the kind of combination that satisfies you. Pain perdu was kinda overfried so it was disappointing it wasn’t tender on the inside, also too much cinnamon. One cocktail certainly recommend is MIAMI VICE ! They have very nice cocktails we saw that when we were first seated at the bar, short story here: Visited without reservation in a group of 6. We sat at the bar and ordered our drinks while trying to find a table, one of the hostesses was insisting that we can’t get a table even after another table left when we asked to get it for us she still said “No surely its reserved” as if she didn’t even want to try and find us a table. No problem it’s our first time. While waiting for food we were trying with the manager and waitresses, until the hostess approached us saying there will be a table available in a bit. So we got our drinks transported and finally had our seats on a table. I totally understand since we came walk in, but the feeling that the waitress didn’t even want to try and find us a table, as if she didn’t like us I mean at least that’s what she showed. She looked to have a managerial role as well, she wasn’t in black uniform like others. Overall totally worth every penny if you plan your visit and call for reservation beforehand. Your first look at the menu might make you think its overpriced, but once you get the food and the good service at the table you understand its totally worth it.

This is a place you MUST go!! Perfect for a cute date night! Nice environment, nice music ,perfect food , perfect drinks , they put enough alcohol in each cocktail ; one glass can make you tipsy 😵‍💫😍 i ordered a drink it was so strong i asked to change and the manager so kindly offered me some other drink i recommend these DRINKS 🍹: -SNOWBALL - PRETTY IN PINK - KILLER KOOL AID - FIERO SPRITZ ( it has sparkles ✨) see the picture below 🤤 They were sooooo good in my opinion, I also ate the “ bad girl pasta “ was amazing And my bf ate “steak American” i really recommend to try this place .
