Very tasty satay. The side peanut sauce was on point as well.
Don't hesitate to inquire about the special fried rice of the day. It's a great option for a side or dish to share.
Also love the fact that you can cash out using the QR code on your table without having to flag a server. Great idea to add fluidity in service and let people decide when they are ready for the bill.

Clearly my expectations were way too low! Every single thing we ordered was beyond delicious! Really enjoyed this restaurant. I recommend it to anyone!!

One of my favourite restaurants in Montreal. The food is authentic and delicious. The decor and ambiance fell like you’ve been transported.

We were just walking along notre dame, we were hungry, we checked Google Maps for a different place, saw the high stars and we found a gem!
A very chill and hip atmosphere, great service and amazing food! Explosive flavours, interesting drinks and cool périple.
We ordered all kinds of plates and are only half way through and I’m writing this positive review. We will be back!

visited montreal and my family told me I needed to go here and wowza, food incredible, music amazing, wait wasn’t too long and everything came out to us fresh and fast!!!! we had some spicy margaritas that were good but didn’t steal the show in my opinion. the pork bahn mi was super good but needed a bit more sauce and chicken satay was better than the lamb! lol

As someone who grew up with the cuisine, I was nonplussed by their offerings. The satay lacked any spicing accompanied by a flat peanut sauce. The gado gado salad had fresh ingredients but it was unfairly matched with a tamed dressing missing some tamarind and sugar. The Laksa was decent although it was a watered down version of the real thing- though a nice touch with the Vietnamese mint and the sambal chili.
But the wacky deco and ultra hipster bar vibe makes up for what it lacks in the food department, if that works for you.
Btw, there is no name sign outside. It is "word of mouth" only.

The lamb skewers is full of fat and laksa is not quite well cooked with shelled shrimp. The bun and ribs are good. Papaya salad is good too.
