3.5 really. the brunch menu is limited and, to my mind, overpriced, even if the profits are going to charity. i ordered the grilled cheese with bacon and that's what i got. a good, but not fabulous, grilled cheese with caramelised onions and a faint hint of bacon. no salad, no garnish, nuthin'. for something like 16$. and you have to go and pick it up when they call your name. the stated mandate of the restaurant is to build community. the space is cavernous, and light, with scatter tables. it's not particularly friendly, more like a big library reading room without the coziness. I didn't feel like anybody particularly was interested in me when I gave my order or picked up my order. so there's a disconnect between the stated mandate and what feels like it's going on in that space. it is a huge challenge to try to create a stable environment with volunteer staff, and a worthy one, but so far I wouldn't say it is a full success. that said, it's worth supporting these folks for the good work that they do. and it's great to have a restaurant with edible food in our beautiful Parc Lafontaine.

My boyfriend and I went to Parc Lafontaine and wanted to pick up dinner from here. We ended up paying about 60 bucks for food that was not even close to worth it - poor selection, incredibly small portions, tasted like a grocery store deli. We felt completely scammed and ended up needing to have dinner at home.

Cozy and chalereux It wasn't very packed when we came. We were greeted right at the door.The menu had various selections from vegan to no gluten but also tend to non vegan like myself. I chose a veggie burger with a side of poutine. I also ordered a vanilla latte. The poutine was good, a bit salty for my taste but so does all poutine. The cheeseburger was good. Tasty bread and sauce. The downside to this was the bread had gotten soaked in sauce which made the bread soggy so I had to eat it with fork and knife. The dessert I ordered(mi-cuit chocolat) was nice. It's served with melted (cold) caramel on the side as well as a scoop of vanilla ice cream all served on a cutting board sprinkled with cocoa powder. The experience was overall good. They cater to parties, brunches, 5@7s, etc. I will recommend and will come back if given the chance ☺

Great dining experience! The food is high quality ingredients with simple but very flavourful interpretations. Staff super friendly. A really cool vibe and decor. Not pretentious but hip. Gorgeous on a nice summer night with the entire facade open. Don’t forget to go dedicate and smash a plate, proceeds go to charity!
