Grinder

The service here is incredible; busboys ready to fill your glasses, take your dirty plates and clean up the table. They are very fun and polite too. We had the tomahawk steak for 2. It doesn't look like much, but one slice is about 10 mouthfuls, and there's about 6 slices on that piece of meat. Plus you get to gnaw on the bone! And you get 2 sides, so come hungry if you choose this dish!

Grinder was one of the best experiences I’ve had at a steakhouse in a while. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was incredibly quick and helpful. The waitress was very friendly and had great suggestions, as well as very accommodating. We celebrated a birthday and they provided us with our dessert on the house, which was super nice. Overall, I’d give Grinder a very very strong 5/5 and would highly recommend to visit.

I went to grinder on a Sunday evening. The vibe and environment was immaculate. The food was delicious and service was excellent. It did take some time for the kitchen to bring out the food, I would say it did take an hour or more but we were having fun and drinking so it worked out. They have valet parking and lots of seating . I do recommend you make a reservation. The music is really loud but I loved it I think it made the atmosphere. It kind of had a supper club atmosphere which was great.

NOT the place to go during Covid (detail below) Pro: Scallop appetizer was delicious They’re good at refilling water More importantly, Con: 1. Service was not great. Took us 10 min to get a menu when our reservation was at 5pm right when the restaurant open. Told us there’s no oyster, but we saw the table next to us ordered it. Our main waiter checked on us a couple times but kept disappearing, we even had to ask for the check from other waiters. 2. Food was not worth the price. Besides the scallop, and the side mash potato. Everything was average, the burger was small for $20, the $60 filet mignon meat quality was rubbery, not worth the price. We ended up adding the oyster, they were so so tiny for $3 each. 3. We’re in the middle of Omicron. They do check vaccine card when you enter. HOWEVER, the 3 chefs cooking ARE NOT WEARING FACE MASKS. And one of the cook was eating a burger as he was cooking! Many of the servers and bartenders have their masks off. To pay such price for the meals, I really wish I could feel safe enjoying my meals, not having to worry about someone’s spit or something worse going in my food. Overall, NOT a great experience. The restaurant was busy, so it felt like they didn’t have to care. It made me doubt how sanitary their food prep is, and I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.
